Exoplanet's extreme winds reach 20,000 mph

Astronomers have discovered astonishingly powerful winds whipping around the giant exoplanet WASP-127b. Reaching speeds up to 20,000 miles an hour (32,200 kph), these supersonic winds make up the fastest jet stream of its kind ever measured on a planet. Read more and watch a video.
