This was so much longer than I planned. It got slightly longer when I decided to include clips of their onscreen counterparts (or their nearest equivalent) before each story. I thought this might make the video a bit more entertaining rather than having to listen to an hour of me prattling on and on. It's a nice break and shows you where they have been featured onscreen before. There are a few points I wanna acknowledge which I didn't find room for in the video. 1. Yes, that is David Warner as Lawrence Beesley. James Cameron cast a handful of actors who were in SOS Titanic and A Night to Remember in his film as a way of paying homage to them. 2. Yes, that is Ian Holm as J Bruce Ismay in SOS Titanic. 3. I was going to put in the Strauses, but as I was cutting down my list to 50, I somehow accidentally deleted their segment and didn't realise until I had finished the script. 4. There are only 4 steerage stories simply because I'd set a limit for myself. I feel bad for not contributing more, but maybe I can do this again next year with exclusively third class passengers. 5. The bit at the end where I mention James Cameron's assertion to remember those who died obviously leads into the Murdoch s***ide scene in the film. I'll talk about this more in the rankings, but yeah, Cameron has for years voiced his regrets over that scene and personally apologised to Murdoch's family. He mentions it in the documentary from which I used the footage. 6. I did flub the pronunciation of Masabumi Hosono and Joseph Peruschitz.
